Our Shipping and Delivery Policy is designed to help you understand our delivery process, timelines, charges, and responsibilities. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or a loyal customer, we want your shopping experience to feel seamless, right from the moment you place your order to the second it lands in your hands.


1. Where We Deliver

Currently, we ship across India, covering metro cities, Tier 2 & Tier 3 towns, and remote areas through a wide network of trusted delivery partners. Our mission is to make our collection accessible to every pin code, every doorstep, no matter where you live.

If you’re unsure whether we deliver to your location, please enter your pin code on the product page or during checkout to confirm availability.


2. Processing Your Order

2.1 Order Confirmation

Once you place an order, you’ll receive an order confirmation email and SMS with a unique Order ID and summary of your purchase. This means we’ve received your request and will begin processing it soon.

2.2 Packing Time

  • Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 24–48 business hours (Monday to Friday).
  • Orders placed on weekends, public holidays, or during promotional events may require additional time due to higher volumes.
  • Each product is carefully packed to avoid damage during transit. We use eco-conscious, protective packaging where possible.

3. Shipping Time & Delivery Estimates

Delivery timelines depend on your pin code, product availability, and the courier partner assigned. Below is a general delivery timeframe:

Note: Business days exclude Sundays and public holidays.

We strive to meet or beat these timelines but external factors such as weather conditions, courier delays, strikes, or regional restrictions may occasionally cause delays. In such cases, we keep you informed via email and SMS.


4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is shipped, you will receive:

  • A shipment confirmation email and SMS
  • A tracking number (AWB)
  • A link to the courier partner’s tracking page

You can also log in to your account on Praakta.com and check the order status under “My Orders.”

If you face issues tracking your order or it hasn’t moved for 2–3 days, feel free to contact our support team and we’ll follow up on your behalf.


5. Shipping Charges

We believe in transparent pricing — no hidden charges.

5.1 Standard Shipping Charges:

  • Orders above ₹999: Eligible for Free Shipping
  • Orders below ₹999: A nominal shipping charge of ₹59–₹99 (depending on location) is added at checkout

5.2 Express or Priority Shipping:

If you require delivery faster than standard timelines, we may offer express delivery on select pin codes at an additional charge. This option will appear at checkout if available.


6. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Currently, we may or may not offer COD (based on logistics partner availability and your pin code). Where enabled:

  • COD Charges: Additional ₹50 may apply
  • COD is not available for orders above ₹3,000 or during certain promotions
  • Customers must provide a working phone number for COD confirmation

Repeated refusals or misuse of COD may lead to the deactivation of this payment mode for your account.


7. Undelivered or Failed Deliveries

There are a few situations where an order may not reach you:

7.1 Incorrect Address

If the address provided is incomplete, unreachable, or has wrong contact details, the delivery partner may return the item to us. In such cases:

  • We will contact you via email or call to verify updated address details
  • Re-shipping is possible after confirmation, but additional shipping charges may apply
  • If we are unable to reach you within 7 days, the order will be cancelled and refunded (minus shipping fees, if any)

7.2 Customer Not Available

If you’re unavailable during the delivery attempt:

  • The delivery agent will attempt 2–3 times
  • If unsuccessful, the item will be returned to our warehouse
  • You may contact the courier with your tracking ID to schedule delivery

8. Delayed Deliveries

We work with the best logistics partners, but delivery delays can occur due to:

  • Natural disasters (floods, heavy rains, etc.)
  • Unforeseen events (pandemics, lockdowns, strikes)
  • Courier operational delays
  • Local delivery restrictions

In such cases:

  • We keep you informed of any updates via email or SMS
  • You can track your shipment using the tracking link
  • We remain available via support channels to provide live updates or help escalate with the courier

9. What to Do Upon Delivery

We highly recommend:

  • Checking the package condition before accepting delivery
  • Refusing the package if it appears torn, tampered, or visibly damaged
  • Taking a photo of the package if it appears mishandled
  • Reporting damage or issues within 48 hours of delivery for refund or replacement eligibility

10. International Shipping

As of now, Praakta.com does not offer international shipping. We are working toward expanding our logistics to serve customers outside India in the near future. Stay tuned to our announcements for updates!


11. Bulk or Gifting Orders

We happily accept large, bulk, or gifting orders! If you’d like to place multiple items for an event, celebration, or return gifts:

  • Reach out to us at support@praakta.com
  • We can customize packaging, combine items, and schedule coordinated delivery
  • Custom/bulk orders may take longer to dispatch, but we will communicate clearly

12. Holiday and Festive Season Advisory

During peak seasons (e.g., Diwali, Rakhi, Christmas, Sale Events):

  • Delivery timelines may extend by 2–4 additional days
  • Order early to ensure timely delivery
  • Express delivery may be restricted in high-volume zones

We will always update our delivery estimates on the product page during festive rush periods.


13. Failed Delivery Refunds

If your prepaid order is returned to origin due to failed delivery attempts and you don’t wish to reattempt shipping:

  • A full refund (excluding shipping fees, if applicable) will be initiated
  • Refunds follow our standard timeline of 5–7 business days

14. Courier Partners

We currently ship through some of India’s most trusted logistics providers, including but not limited to:

  • Delhivery
  • Bluedart
  • XpressBees
  • DTDC
  • India Post (for remote areas)

Each shipment is traceable and insured till delivery.
