This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines how you can cancel your order, the conditions under which refunds are processed, and the timelines and processes for each case.


1. General Overview

  • This policy is applicable to all purchases made through www.praakta.com.
  • The policy applies uniformly across all products unless specified otherwise on the product page (e.g., custom orders or sale items).
  • Our goal is to ensure that you are satisfied with our products while maintaining operational feasibility and transparency.

2. Order Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellation by Customer (Before Shipping)

  • Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not been dispatched.
  • To cancel, simply reach out to us via email at support@praakta.com or WhatsApp our customer care team with your order number.
  • If the order has not been packed or shipped, it will be canceled and the full amount will be refunded to your original mode of payment.
  • If payment was made via UPI, credit/debit card, or net banking, the refund process will be initiated within 2–3 working days and reflected in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank.

2.2 Cancellation After Shipping

  • Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
  • You can, however, reject the delivery at the doorstep. Once the item is returned to us and inspected, we’ll initiate a refund deducting any applicable shipping charges (both ways).

3. Cancellation by Praakta.com

In rare cases, Praakta.com may cancel your order due to:

  • Non-availability of the product.
  • Payment not received or incomplete.
  • Shipping address is undeliverable or incomplete.
  • Multiple failed delivery attempts.
  • Suspicious, bulk, or fraudulent orders.

If your order is canceled by us:

  • We’ll inform you via email and SMS within 24 hours.
  • A full refund will be initiated to your original mode of payment.
  • You’ll receive a refund confirmation email with a reference ID once the refund is processed.

4. Return and Replacement Policy

4.1 Eligibility for Return or Exchange

We accept returns or replacements under the following conditions:

  • The product delivered is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • You received a different item than what was ordered.
  • The product has manufacturing defects or visible quality issues.

Please note:

  • Returns or replacement requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.
  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with tags, labels, and packaging intact.
  • Items that appear worn or used will not be accepted for return or replacement.

4.2 Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or refunds for the following:

  • Accessories that are part of a clearance sale, flash sale, or final sale.
  • Products marked as “Non-returnable” on the product page.
  • Custom-made or personalized items.
  • Items that have been used, washed, or altered.

5. How to Request a Return or Replacement

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at support@praakta.com or message our customer care team on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide your order number, a brief explanation of the issue, and clear photographs of the product, packaging, and invoice.
  3. Our support team will verify and approve the return request if eligible.
  4. A return pickup will be arranged from your address within 3–5 working days, depending on your pin code.
  5. Once the product reaches our warehouse and passes inspection, a refund or replacement will be processed.

6. Refund Process

6.1 Refund Timelines

  • Refunds are initiated within 2–3 working days after the returned product is received and inspected at our warehouse.
  • Depending on your bank or payment method, it may take 5–7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

6.2 Refund Methods

Refunds are processed to the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking – Refunded back to the same card/bank account.
  • UPI Payments – Refunded to the original UPI ID.
  • Wallet Payments – Refunded to the respective wallet account.
  • Cash on Delivery Orders – Refunded to your bank account after collecting bank details via email.

Note: We do not offer cash refunds under any circumstances.


7. Shipping Charges on Returns

  • If the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, return shipping charges are borne by us.
  • If you return a product for any non-defective reason (e.g., you changed your mind), a reverse pickup charge may apply, which will be deducted from the refund.
  • Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable.

8. Replacement vs. Refund – What’s Better?

You may choose between a replacement or a full refund, depending on product availability and your preference.

  • If the same product is available and you’d like a new one, we will dispatch a replacement after the defective one is returned.
  • If the product is out of stock, a refund will be issued instead.

9. Damaged Items in Transit

We take every precaution while packing and shipping your order. However, if the product is damaged during transit:

  • Please do not accept visibly damaged packages from the delivery agent.
  • If the package is accepted and upon opening you find damage, email us immediately with images of the damaged item and packaging.
  • We’ll verify and arrange for a replacement or refund.

10. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund after our confirmation email:

  1. First, check your bank account or wallet.
  2. Contact your bank or card provider as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted.
  3. If it still hasn’t appeared after 7 business days, contact us at support@praakta.com and we’ll assist you further.

11. Return Abuse & Fraudulent Claims

We reserve the right to reject return/refund claims under the following conditions:

  • Repeated abuse of the return policy.
  • Excessive cancellations or suspicious activity.
  • False or misleading information provided.
  • Failure to return the product or non-compliance with our return conditions.

In such cases, we may suspend or restrict account access or cancel future orders.
